Successful launch: the first Brand Bowl of the Brand Club in Frankfurt 

Familiar format – new faces, exciting content! 

Last week, the first Brand Bowl took place in Frankfurt. The theme of the evening was... „From line to circle – brands on the way to the circular economy“. Leading figures from business, academia, and consulting came together to discuss whether brands can play a crucial role in transforming our economy. The event was a melting pot of innovative ideas and forward-looking solutions aimed at making our society more sustainable. 

Erich Posselt, Brand Ambassador for Frankfurt and Managing Partner of Neufrankfurt GmbH, opened the event with a captivating keynote speech, presenting the Circular Economy as a urgently needed evolution of the traditional linear economy with its "take-make-waste" approach. His approach: „Circularity Flows“, which enables companies to operate more sustainably, gradually and without overwhelming restructuring.  

Sandra Wolf, CEO of Riese and Müller, Sandra, our featured speaker of the evening, delivered a captivating keynote address. She emphasized that sustainability is more than just a corporate goal; it's an attitude that must be deeply embedded in the company culture. Sandra spoke about the challenges of bringing all employees along on this journey. Making projects consistently sustainable is a complex process. However, her practical examples from Riese & Müller and other companies demonstrated that progress is possible and inspiring results can be achieved.  

The subsequent Brand Bowl presentation underscored that brands can play a crucial role in supporting important changes in business and society. By connecting companies, customers, and society, brands can help to: 

  • to develop new business models 
  • To promote innovation and sustainable design 
  • to secure long-term value creation 
  • Strengthening trust and loyalty 
  • To encourage behavioral changes 
  • to promote cultural and social change 

The enthusiasm and commitment of the participants were palpable, and many went home with new ideas and perspectives, ready to implement them in their own fields.
